A few years ago, I was really struck by something that British Statesman and literary figure, Benjamin Disraeli, was reported to have once said:

“We are not creatures of circumstance; we are creators of circumstance.”

I realized that this statement is quite true–we are truly the creators of our own situations and forward movements. We make the decisions that determine what happens in our lives. And when difficulties cross our path, we are the ones who decide how to traverse those pitfalls. Our attitudes affect our actions. Our actions affect the outcomes. The outcomes affect all those around us.

My goal is to fully embody this feeling–and to live my life not as a victim, but rather as a creator of circumstance. This website is but one small link the intricate chain that will help me meet this goal. Welcome!
